The company was established as a manufacturing unit in 1972 by John Driver, and is still a privately owned family business controlling its national operation from a base in rural Somerset.
As a British Manufacturer, the range of equipment marketed is one of the most extensive offered by any company in Europe, and consists of a range of Steam Cleaners, and models of Cold Water Washer with varying outputs and pressures – standard production up to 500 bar @ 120 LPM.
Where electricity is not readily accessible on site, a range of Petrol and Diesel Driven units is available – including Diesel Driven Saddle Tank Trailer Mounted Steam Cleaners up to 3000 psi at 26 litres.
There are extensive variations of the “Tamperproof” Static Hot and Cold Power Washers, and one of our greatest strengths is that we have the flexibility to build customised units to suit any application.
It is generally accepted that Dirt Driver has become an effective and efficient Company whilst maintaining a friendly and personal service through a national distribution. Our motto is “Always in stock – delivery next day”.
The Company is now run by John Driver’s son, Nigel, with the third generation being represented by Nigel’s son, Robert. All three are committed to uphold the traditions of the Company for which John worked so hard and enthusiastically and to continue to promote his dream of making Dirt Driver one of the most respected and best known names in the High Pressure Cleaning Industry.
